What can I expect from a routine mouth cancer screening appointment?

We will examine your mouth and search for any signs of mouth cancer, whilst also taking X-rays and looking for unusual masses. We will ask you about your lifestyle and in some cases, advise you on how to amend certain lifestyle habits to reduce your chances of developing mouth cancer. Should we come across something that needs further investigation, we may refer you for a biopsy.
