Crowns

Commonly used in general dentistry, crowns are versatile and effective, treating discolouration, fortifying weak teeth and protecting against fractures.

What can I expect from treatment?

Our aim is to create crowns in the image of your smile; your crown will be made to match the shade and shape of your existing teeth. A tiny amount of tooth enamel will be removed to accommodate the crown and following this, we will take digital impressions of your teeth which are sent off to the dental lab so your crown can be crafted. In the meantime, you will be fitted with a temporary crown and once we receive your crown back at the practice, we will invite you to come in to have it bonded – your dentist here at Bricketwood Practice will use a strong adhesive to do this, so your crown is securely in place.
